The Municipality goes solar. Water Factory, one of municipal companies dealing with water provision and sewage treatment has implemented photovoltaics within the area of sewage treatment plant and water intake spot.
More than 7 thousand photovoltaic panels have been installed, with the total power of 2 MW.
Approximately 43 ha within the Industrial Park are going to be offered for companies interested in setting up solar plant, providing green energy from photovoltaics.
This may bring a possitive impact for both: reduction of costs of High Technologies Industrial Park
tennants and for environment. As the costs of energy from the sun is relatively cheaper, companies in
Park can save money and become more ecologically aware.
